We have put Millard Windows and doors in every house we have owned, and we were surprised to have a problem with a window. We've never had a Milgard product problem before. Everything about this experience was positive from the representative on the phone to the two technicians. Knowledge able on the phone and answered all my questions. My house was kept clean and the Milgard doors shone when they finished. I had one two doors and four windows repaired: a broken seal, sticky crank and reglazing.I'll buy Milgard again. The two Milgard service men who replaced two of our windows were great. They called ahead to give me a 30 minute warning, arrived on time, neat and clean. They always wore shoe covers in the house and took them back off outside. They were very careful climbing around on our patio cover, also. The new windows were installed perfectly. We had two windows that had moisture between the panes, These windows were over 12 years old and had been subjected to direct sun and cold nights. I am not surprised that after so many hot-cold cycles there were leaks in the seals. Milgard replaced the windows, no questions asked. We were the original owners and I was told of the lifetime warranty. The factory installer was prompt, polite and very helpful with my questions. I am very impressed with Milgard and their service. I had a window that needed to be replace due to mold growing between the glass panes and another that had cracked from the corner for an unknown reason. When I called they were very good at getting back to me. The bummer is that they are pretty busy so I had to schedule it out 3 weeks. The said they would call/email me in advance so I knew when they would be coming out, but I didn't hear from them. I called them the morning of service and was given the drivers cell number and we discussed the timeframe. He called me later during the day to confirm the time and showed up within the time he had given me. He was very quick and polite. I felt very comfortable having him in my home.
