Service was it was great.
I had an issue with my casement Window. This ended up causing me to miss a day of work. Milgard had Saturday appointments but I really didn't want to wait the extra time. The tech came on time and did the repair in just under an hour. The guy was really fast and clean. I bought my windows online from 1stWindows and the one thing that they had me change was to add breather tubes to compensate for the altitude. You dont want your windows to be like that bag of chips that you brought up the mountain they said that want to burst open. Given a choice, I have learned over many years, I can depend on quality design, fabrication, and warranty service from Milgard!Had a problem with two slider windows seeming to jam in the track. Milgard sent a tech out to our home (punctual) and he determined that the issue with one window was a plastic plug covering a screw hole installed by an independent contractor was interfering with proper slide function. According to the tech, the second window was binding because of an outdated side rail design which he replaced. In both cases, adjustments were happily made for free. Another happy customer!

Getting someone to answer the phone to request service was frustrating to say the least. I gave up twice due to long hold times. The 3rd time I stuck it out. The "we'll call you back and you won't loose your place in line" was a joke, they called back soon after I hung up and I was put on hold for longer than the original wait time given! However, once they answered, the service was set up for only a few days off and the Service tech showed up early in the window given and made the repair quickly. He also asked if we had any other issues then checked and lubricated two sticky windows.Service was very slow
When I reported the issue by email I received an immediate response. I had to send 2 more emails to get any info on the repair. Finally gat an email saying a a tech would call call to schedule. Did not here from tech for another 3 weeks.Repair took 30 minutes. Getting to the repair took about 6 weeks.
