I had all my windows replaced with Milgard vinyl windows in 2006. After about a year, one window began to leak between the panes. I contacted Milgard and they had a technician replace it, no questions asked (except the window number). He was neat, quick and friendly. A week ago, the spring-loaded balancer on a single hung sash broke. Again, I emailed Milgard. A rep called me and mailed a replacement that day. She offered to have a tech install it. I had to have 3 windows replaced because they lost their seal and had become foggy. Since they have a lifetime guarantee, Milgard replaced them at no cost. They sent out a representative to confirm that the wndows were indeed defective. The gentleman took measurements and told me they would order new windows, which would take a few weeks. The cause of the problem still has to be discovered by by your in-house engineering/research department (photographs of the problem were taken) however, the promptness, professionalism, and courteousness of your field rep. were excellent.
