I love the fact that Milgard honored their guarantee of life time warranty! After seversl years of living in our home, one of the Milgard Trinsic Windows seals broke and condensation appeared between the window pains. We bought our Milgard Windows 7 years ago from 1stWindows.com and they set up our warranty service call. Recently we have had two things break. The first was a latch on a horizontal window the second time it was the mechanism that holds up the lower window in a single hung window. The latch broke because the window was shut hard one too many times. The single hung broke because I made my wife mad one too many times. On both occasions the service was simply outstanding! Our tech was awesome. I asked why we may have had so many issues with the seal and streaking between the panes. He asked what year they were installed and I couldn't remember exactly. He checked the serial number and said 2010 was a year with problems with the seal. he took the initiative to check all the windows and found additional panesthat needed replacement. He measured them and said he would handle the order. Other than the streaking between the double panes we are extremely pleased with the way The Milgard windows have made the home quieter and warmer.
