The reason for the title is not just the product, it is the company and how it is standing behind its product. I had my windows installed 7 years ago and had a problem with the hardware on one window. Milgard sent people out fixed the problem and made a couple of adjustments to other windows that I had issues with but were not included on this trouble ticket. I am so pleased with Migard windows I wish every window in our house were Milgard. I will definately use them again when/if we need to replace any. I had dragged my feet about calling for a couple years, one of the windows in my sons room had leaked inbetween the pains and there was a stain. This summer his room was really hot, so I finally decided to figure out how to use the lifetime warranty. It couldn't have been easier - also discovered when the tech was out that a bathroom window had the same issue, so both were replaced. Fast, efficient, professional - you name it. I initially called with general questions about Milgard's warranty. The customer service rep was so helpful after I explained my concern with one of my windows, that she immediately scheduled a tech to come over and replace it. I was called back several days later to confirm the appointment and the tech arrived on time as scheduled. What a breath of fresh air when you receive great customer service.
