We bought our Milgard Tuscany windows about 15 years ago from 1stwinodws. Called 1stwindows about a broken seal An appointment was scheduled within 10 days Employee arrived as scheduled- made inspection- made a decision on what needed to be replacedWithin 5 days I was called with a scheduled replacement date The workers were efficient and very tidy Work was completed to our complete satisfaction This is one of the reasons we have chose Milgard for 3 of our houses! Milgard was extremely quick in responding to my request for service. The service techs who came to replace the windows were on time (early actually), friendly, efficient. I had three large trinsic single hung windows to replace and I think it took them a total of 20 min and that included cleaning the windows. They were great. We had several very large Milgard Ultra windows installed in our home a number of years ago. Last month I noticed one of the windows was sweating between the dual glass. I immediately called Milgard and they set up an appointment with me to have it replaced. Yesterday two very professional young men delivered and installed the new window and it took about an hour to replace the defective window. Milgard took full responsibility for their product . My Milgard Utra casement was sticking - it needed adjustment.I talked with the lady on the phone and we could not tell if my window was under warranty...she sent the technician out to replace it free of charge regardless (imagine, a company that gets customer service!).The technician called me a couple of days prior to confirm the time, and on the day called to say he was ready early if I wanted (I did). Milgard window performed the job very professionally, email in advance to remind me of the appointment, call by in service tech half an hour before coming and repair the window within reasonable time and clean everything before leaving. First I would like to say that the Milgard window in-home service guys were great. Worked fast and were gone in 10-15 min. The initial contact made with Milgard was a bit of a trial though. It took about three or 4 e-mails (a couple with pictures) and a couple of phone calls to get what I thought was right. The in-home service guys came to the house and we found out that the grid pattern was not right, so they had to order a new one, which took about 5 weeks.
