The Milgard service appointment was very easy to set up. I received a follow up e-mail reminder 2 days before the appointment and a phone confirmation 35 minutes before the tech arrived. Thank you for coming out and replacing the two stationary panels in my Milgard A 150 single hung aluminum windows that had leaked in the past, and for re-sealing several large picture windows in our living room. Your two technicians were on time, courteous, and very helpful. They did a great job, and completed their work much earlier than we anticipated. When I contacted Milgard I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was a crew of people ready to provide great customer service. We made an appt to look at my fixed tuscany arched window. 2 days prior a Milgard serviceman came by to measure the window but as my husband works graveyards I was not able to let him into the room that he needed to go to for measuring the window. On the day of our appointment the same serviceman came back and said that they had ordered 2 different sizes, just in case. They were able to replace the glass on my house with the correct size and did so without any hassles. There were here and gone in less than 30 minutes and all at no charge. On this service call, the weep holes in one of the windows were not operating properly. The Milgard technician was able to do a field repair. He knew several possible causes for the problem, so he could trouble-shoot while there. My overall experience with Milgard windows was great, it just took 4 weeks. The original service request was put in January 26th and first response from Milgard was February 12th. Service was completed today, February 23rd. Fortunately, this was not an emergency situation. The onsite techs (both inspection and installation) were very friendly and professional.
