Paulino R arrived early to our appointment window which was a great surprise - we are used to contractors arriving at the end or after the allotted window. Paulino quickly fixed the problem we had with one of our Trinsic windows and helped explain how the other windows work. Today was the second time Milgard sent their service people to honor the lifetime warranty on our 28 year old Milgard windows! They have fixed/replaced windows for us before, as well as put new rollers on our 8 foot sliding door. Today, they replaced the glass in our giant, front living room picture window. Sean, Cody and Robert were incredible! They were courteous, careful, very clean and respectful and if I didn't know better, I'd swear they just happy to be able to help! I can't thank Milgard enough and would give them 6 stars, if it were possible! If you are ever wondering if you should buy Milgard windows, trust me - go for it! You'll never regret it! I was very happy with the service experience. I received an email a few days ahead with a 2 hour time window and the service tech from Milgard called when he was on his way. They tried to blame the builder. None of are other windows leaked from the last storm. It had to do with the window being replaced two years ago and not sealed properly. After pushing the repair person they agreed to reseal the window. This week's storm appears not to have enter the house. Will wait until the next storm to verify further. Benicia, CA (Solano County)

Only wish is that the service call could have been scheduled for the following day rather than two weeks later but I also realize that that is impossible, given where we live. They would have sent the part to me to install but, due to the fact that the window had jammed and I was afraid to force it, I requested the service call. Other than that, the service is absolutely wonderful. The windows were installed as part of original construction 6 years ago and there was no question about service or the free service call. I had mistakenly contacted the other window manufacturer with the same initials and was told that there would be an $85 fee for their service call. Milgard definitely stands behind their lifetime warranty. More encouraging is the fact that the service tech, John, checked the other windows in the house and recommended that we set another appointment to have all the balancers in the windows replaced because Milgard received a very large lot of defective balancers about the time our house was built and unknowingly installed them.
