I specified 14 Milgard windows to be installed in my house 6 years ago and bought them from 1st Windows because I had great Milgard experience at my previous house. A month ago one window had condensation so I called Milgard on the lifetime warranty. In a few weeks a smiling service tech showed up with a new window and replaced it, no charge! I had three big windows lose the seal between the two panes after 10 years. Put in a request for service on the web site. A couple of question over email and the job was scheduled. It was a long lead time but I guess they had to manufacture and ship, so not too bad. Service techs came out and about 40 minutes later everything was done. They look great again. I was very impressed with the expertise and helpful attitude of the service technician that came to our house today for some repairs on our recent Milgard Ultra windows and doors purchase. He did good work on the needed repairs, and answered all my questions.However, I was less impressed with the customer service personnel who set up the appointment. Milgard tech was great. Fixed the problem quickly. The only complaint was when I first emailed about the problem I didn't receive a phone call.
