Milgard totally stands behind their lifetime warrantee. I have some windows that were over 15 years old that Milgard graciously replaced. I would recommend Milgard and will always purchased them in the future. Flagstaff, AZ (Coconino County)

Twenty years ago we had Milgard windows installed in our home - twenty in all. They have withstood the test of time. A few developed vapor between the two panes of glass. I called Milgard. After 20 years, I was expecting a runaround. I sent Milgard an email describing the problem. I received a call the next day, but was unable to respond to it due to a business trip. The Salt Lake City office called consistently to arrange a service call. Needless to say, I was astounded. The extraordinarily courteous and polite service person arrived at my home as promised, and on time. He inspected the windows and measured the defective ones. He promised to return in two weeks and replace the windows. Another surprise; two weeks later an installation technician arrived on time, and replaced the defective windows. While doing the work he pointed out that his colleague had overlooked one of the windows; one could hardly see the vapor. He returned two weeks later to replace that window. There are few companies in America, that will enthusiastically service their products, under warrantee, after two decades of service. I will never use any window or door products in the future other than Milgard. Competitors products may be less expensive, but wait until there is a problem. You will quickly wish you had invested a few more dollars in Milgard's product. Milgard's products and service, are , in my very strong opinion, the standard by which all other window companies should be judged.Well done Milgard for coming through on your warrantee after two decades, without hesitation. All Milgard technicians were friendly and very professional. Technicians were very considerate of coming into our home and were careful to keep things clean. Technicians were obviosly factory trained and knew exactly what they had to do to remove and replace the Milgard windows. The communication amongst themselves was very good, friendly and professional. Safety was obvious from the time they started their work until they cleaned up. Eric came to change a pane that was fogging up in our Milgard Tuscany window, he was very nice and told me what kind of spray to use for tracks. My windows are very stiff and get stuck going up and down. I have 1 good one. One I couldn’t lock at all cause I couldn’t get it to go all the the way down! Not good for the cost of these windows! I absolutely love my Milgard Tuscany windows, and 1stwindows was great in helping me choose the right product for my home. When I called in I never did get to speak to a tech. I was put on hold and after a long period of time I hung up. I submitted a request online which Milgard windows responded to but I was requested to.
