We had a large Ultra picture window in our living room fail; moisture got into the double panes. We called Milgard; they sent out a tech to measure, and not long after we were given a date for replacement. The techs arrived on time, were professional, neat, and extremely quick! Hey, an unconditional warranty that is actually unconditional - what's better than that? Call to get warranty repairs was well received; and then the delay for the service tech. Frequently takes 2-3 weeks for the replacement windows to be ordered and made and then installed. Milgard scheduled an appointment to replace the glass in a Milgard window that had development streaks between the panes. When the technician arrived to install the replacement, he quickly determined that the grid in the new window was different than the original. So he had to return the new glass. Even though Milgard no longer does its own after-sale product service, and contracts it out to third-party providers, they seem to be doing a pretty good job of selecting the folks who actually provide the service. The guys showed up a little early, came with all equipment and supplies to do the job, and weren't bashful about listening to my ideas.
