When we built our home in 2006 we bought Milgard windows because of the lifetime warranty. We put in fiberglass windows that, unfortunately, had bad balancers. Milgard has absolutely stood behind its warranty and has replaced all of the balancers and some windows that suffered broken seals. The Milgard person who came out (Sam) was very professional, highly competent and just a really nice, pleasant guy. On a milgard sliding glass door that we ordered, the track and the slider were mis-matched, so the slider was very tough to open and close. Milgard installed a new slider and track, and it now works great. The service tech was fast and professional. We did have a couple of issues, though. First, whenever I call Milgard, I get mis-routed to their office in the Ventura County area, and the rep will eventually figure out that my call needs to be transferred to the Temecula, CA location. Second, there was a delay in producing the new hardware and our service visit had to be rescheduled, but no one from Milgard informed us and I had to call Milgard after our scheduled time had passed.
