The first technician sent out to fix the problem basically said wait until the problem happens again. It did happen again and another tech was sent. He listened to my description of what was happening to our 2 sets of Tuscany awning windows. He also went above and beyond to recreate the problem to figure out a fix. After some thoughtful investigating he was able to identify the issue! I requested that he return to fix it as I didn't want to have start over. We had a window that would not come out of the sash to clean. The representative on the phone was very thorough with her questions on what was wrong, what had we tried. Ordered a part for us to fix it ourselves. Then a tech called us and said he would come fix it for us. He was very good about calling us to let us know when he could come. We aren't sure that the issue was corrected. He tried a re-glazing approach to see if that fixed the water intrusion issue. I will have to water test after 48 hours. I just recently built a new house. It's the third house that I've used milgardbwindows and doors. After install I had few issues with the windows and doors. I called to schedule an appoinment and it took a while. They came back a few times because of missing parts but they ended up taking care of everything. They did not charge for anything.
