Milgard's lifetime glass warranty is terrific. One of our large, tall Trinsic picture windows failed (after 7 years of direct southern exposure), and Milgard definitely stood behind its promise. The only downside is we had to wait a couple of months for the replacement glass and installation team to both be available in our neck of the woods, but once they were here the new glass was swapped out for the failed glass very competently and efficiently, so no complaints. All of our windows are made by Milgard. This is not the first glass that needed replacement - two or three others were replaced fairly quickly by our local dealer. Unfortunately their installer retired and was not replaced, so this is the first time we have dealt with Milgard directly for glass replacement. Considering the alternative the sliightly longer delay in completing the work is acceptable. It's definitely nice to have clear glass to look through again. We had failed windows at a home in Snohomish. We submitted the online warranty form, the service Milgard rep came out on their own, identified the windows needing repair, an appointment was set for two weeks later, and all the identified windows were replaced at no cost. We build spec homes and flip houses. Can you buy cheaper windows? Yes. Can you buy better windows and receive better service? No. Will never buy anything but Milgard windows.
