I called 1stwindows for how to get service for my tuscany window. They filled out the service request and I was very impressed buy the excellent response by milgard for the replacement of a fogged glass. As it was many years I was very pleased to find out that this replacement was covered under the warranty. I had to change the scheduled repair date and this was handled immediately and to my satisfaction. The company kept me informed as to when a service man would come and they were right on time. I bought my milgard doors from 1stwindows. I priced tuscany, trinsic, ultra, and aluminum. In redondo beach there is no permit for retrofits so i could choose whatever i wanted. I liked the ultra doors but due to the quantity the price was prohibited. I like the aluminum doors but thought they would have issues by the beach. I had 22 four panel doors. I opted for the tuscany black doors because the price was much less and the capstock finish should be more durable in a beach environment. These doors face the ocean and are well protected by overhang but there is still salt in the air. The doors arrived on time and we got the job done in record time. Redondo Beach, CA (LA County)

I opened the door and the milgard guys were already putting their booties on! I said no worrries...I have hardwood floors. They solved all of the issues on my punch list and now everything is working properly. They double and triple checked everything to make sure it was working perfect before they left the house.
