We must have more than 60 milgard tuscany windows and doors in our house with lifetime warranty installed at build in 2010. The window developed some iridescence a couple of years ago and Milgard windows came right out and replaced it no questions asked. We have just had another couple of panes developing problems with the coating on the inside - I called up described the problems, and scheduled for the first available visit - a little over a week out - the installer came at the scheduled time and popped them both out and replaced them. I purchased a new home that had MIlgard windows installed. Builder's warranty was expired by the time I started noticing some problem with windows. I called a local contractor and found out it was going to be costly repairs and was suggested to contact the manufacture directly. I called Milgard thinking it was going to be a long and painful process to have it resolved. I was wrong! Replacement windows were ordered right away. The service tech arrived with shoe cover on, so I did not have to worry about the carpet getting dirty. He had not only replaced windows, but he also checked every windows in the house to make sure they are functional. All that at no cost. It was beyond my expectation. The first Milgard technician out to our house did not have the right equipment to make the repairs, the second one was fast, effective and great to talk to as he did his work. Milgard provides the best quality and energy efficient windows. It has the best reputation. However, Milgard needs to work on reducing lead time to deliver windows and to provide services honored by their lifetime warranty. Other than that we really like our thermal aluminum windows. He was professional, went straight to work, was neat as a pin, and polite. Twenty minutes later, the milgard windows had been replaced, cleaned, and then proceeded to check several of our floor-to-ceiling doors and made adjustments that he believed were necessary for better functionality. We finished our 190 unit apartment complex with the Milgard Tuscany windows & doors. Over the course of two years we installed hundreds of windows and doors. We went with the Tuscany because we needed the wide flange ZBar to cover over our existing aluminum frames and they run a little more.
