My service was performed early as requested, with a friendly warning call 10 minutes before arrival. The service Milgard technician quickly replaced the damaged window and \tuned up\" the slider movement, and also checked the other window locations and turned them up as well. He took to time to explain how I should maintain the windows, and demonstrated how to adjust the sliders for my own future reference. Amazingly, everything was completed within 30 minutes, done!Result: vastly improved operation of all windows, everything was clean and tidy, and I was hardly late to work. Thanks! Height of window with leaks would require scaffolding to properly seal. Last repair with scaffolding failed to perform water test to verify a proper sealing of the leaks. Leaks at corners of sliding glass door was apparently due to oversight to caulk both ends of the sliding glass door. Sticking vertical sliding window was fixed but latch spring on one window was missing (discovered after sevice tech left). Oakland, CA, USA

After we moved into our new home we noticed two handles to the sliding doors were chipped, and the door adjustment plugs were missing. We also had a glass issue on a fixed aluminum window. I wasn't sure if they were delivered that way or not. I called Milgard windows: their rep was friendly, and happy to help solve the problem. She scheduled a service tech to come to our home, with the needed parts, about two weeks later.Now the doors look great. Overall we are very satisfied with the Milgard windows service call. You can't beat the lifetime warranty, we've lived in our for 18 years and the handles and locking mechanism wore out and one glass panel started to get condensation between the glass and they replaced the handles, locks and glass no problem.How great is that!
