Long wait for an appointment. Installation was great.

It took a long time to get a time scheduled for the warranty replacement. Milgard was apparently short staffed for installers. However, once the two installers showed up, everything went quickly and smoothly. Mokelumne Hill, CA (Calaveras County)
For many years we suffered with a 'stuck' door and stuck casement windows even after calling our initial installer to correct several times. Finally the handle on the door broke and Milgard #Todd# came out last Friday to fix it. Not only did Todd fix the handle, he fixed what amounted to a bad installation on the door and our casement window. Far and away more than he was required to do. I cannot say THANK YOU enough. I am more than pleased with the service, professionalism and knowledge of Todd. I would highly recommend Milgard for sliding doors and windows because they stand behind their products. I am SO HAPPY. Thank, you, thank you, thank you! Kenmore, WA (King County)
I have a home that is going on 7 years old that was built with Milgard windows. Over the years I have had Milgard out 3x for window issues. Never a hesitation, never a problem with them coming to my home and repairing the problem. Each time the service person was professional. This is a company that truly stands by its products. If ever given the opportunity to build my own home I will use Milgard windows. Rainier, WA (Thurston County)
From my first phone call to customer service to the tech that was here today to fix the glass in our aluminum windows, everything was very professional. Porterville, CA (Tulare County)
YOUR SERVICE MAN WAS FRIENDLY AND VERY CURTIOUS NOT TO MENTION WAS VERY KNOWLEGABLE IN HIS WORK HE WAS NOT DISTRACTED BY ANY OF OUR QUESTIONS .HE TOOK GREAT CONCERN IN MAKING SURE HE DID NOT LEAVE ANY MARKS ON THE INNER GLASS AS WAS DONE WITH THE FIRST GLASS WHILE MAKING SURE IT WAS SEALED PROPERLY Mount Vernon, WA (Skagit County)
I spent more on the windows for the warranty and the quality. The windows were installed in the 1990's and are on the weather side of my home. The seal failed on two of the fixed units and we were able to get them replaced at no cost. The tech that came had the proper size glass based on the measurements we gave and was extremely talented at replacing them. Windows are like a lot of building components...you get what you paid for.
