We are building our forever home which has an enormous amount of windows and doors. We decided on Milgard Trinsic windows in the color black. The pricing we got was all over the map then we found the 1stwindows web site. We called the Milgard factory to make sure they were a legitimate dearler and they got a glowing review them. We had some interaction over the phone and they even looked at our plans to make sure we were to the building code. Everything came out as ordered and fit perfectly into the framed openings. Our installers were unsure of how to properly install the handle-lock on our sliding door and our screen door was sliding poorly. We bought our Milgard Style Line windows at 1stwinodws so we contacted them for help. They called Milgard service a serviceman come out and was friendly, got right to work, fixed both problems quickly, and was on his way. Happy to have everything operational again. We purchased our home 2 years ago, and were pleased with many of the improvements made by the previous owners, including the Milgard windows. When I called about a problem we were having with one of the windows, the customer service told us they were still under warranty, and that the warranty follows the windows, not the home owners -- good news to me. It took a while before a day could be scheduled, but when Sergio arrived to fix the one window we were having problems with, He was very quick and efficient, and had upgraded all of our windows to the new pieces.
