We bought our windows locally online from 1stWindows and used our own installer. Everything went as planned with our Milgard window replacement. The installers were very pleasant and kept the house clean. The only problem was I had to request that they clean off the adhesive. They did wait while I cleaned the windows to make sure they were not dirty between the panes. Overall, it was a good experience. Denver, CO (Adams County)
The techs arrived early and focused on their work. They completed everything very promptly and were on their way. Thank you. Vallecito, CA (Calaveras County)
The entire experience re:style line casement problem wasmost enjoyable from the initial contact all the way to the service person. It was one man, Dave, who understood the problem, corrected it completely satisfactory. It was a pleasant experience.clint Pico Rivera, CA (Los Angeles County)
My issue was warranty service for failed low-e glass door. Service tech came and knew exactly what he was doing. Fix was done quickly. Great service. Sammamish, WA (King County)
John was our service person and as usual, he was not only on time (early in fact) but had the problem diagnosed and finished in a jiffy. He has come to our house once before to correct a minor problem and he showed the same efficiency and professionalism then too. We highly recommend him for a job well-done. We are loving our Milgard windows once again! Sacramento, CA (Sacramento County)
It was way to simple to change out one of our bigger windows. Should have done this several years ago.

Milgard is top quality when it comes to windows and doors. It took the 2 techs all of 30 minutes to change out one of or biggest windows. Great job and they knew what they were doing. Thanks. you may use us anytime for a referral. Portland, OR (Clackamas County)
1. Windows are fine. look good. insulate great and are very clear.2. Screens are a different story.Made too tight. Takes knift to remove them. Width seems ok but lenght is toooo long. There is no way my wife can remove the screens to wash the windows. I am going to half to sand them off to make them work. Need to correct this problem.3. I used about three cases of caulking. installing these windows. Why don't you have your own brand of calking?? $7.00 a tube and 36 tubes equals about $252.00 that you lossed. If you had your brand then I would know I used the correct type. Give me a % if you start providing it. Thanks. You cut into my fishing ttime if my wife can't remove the screens. Thats dumb... We had 2 windows where the seals had broken. I called Milgaard, we set up an appointment, and the service men came and in less than 30 minutes they had both windows replaced. They were efficient and knew exactly what they were doing along with being friendly and courteous.Being on the coast, windows take quite a beating and with this kind of service we definitely made the best decision.
