Milgard guys were great. I had a warranty appointment arranged to fix a Style Line casemnt, and then added to it for window glass that was struck by a rock from a weed wacker. Although the service appointment was a bit further out than expected, your technicians hit the ball our of the park by replacing both windows within 15-20 minutes ! One month after replacing our 25+ year aluminum windows with the Milgard Tuscany series vinyl windows V400, we are very pleased. Not long enough to rate better for how they stand up to time and winter. So far we notice the sound insulation is better and how nice to have crystal clear glass after the condensation from the argon gas that had broken down on our previous windows. We did our own installation, no problem for first timers! One thing to note, on the option to have the windows lock open...the lock mechanism is a bright orange tab that is visible from indoors, and if opening the window and forgetting it is there, the window will slam into it. This is bound to happen with kids. I forget sometimes, too. It is nice to lock the window slightly ajar, but it does only give us an inch and a half of open window. I misunderstood and was thinking I could adjust the locking height. Just FYI. Anaheim, CA (Orange County)

Service rep arrived as scheduled even tho we were in a torential rain & driving wind storm. He knew the Milgard ultra window construction. He LISTENED to my explanation of how the window became stuck. He spent less time unjamming the lock than it took me to explain. In & out in minutes. He gave me advice on how to avoid future problems. GREAT SERVICE. The reason for the lower overall rating was the duration of wait time from initial call to service appt (over a month). We had minor track issues with 2 Milgard Style Line windows, we called and scheduled the appointment with ease and when the tech. arrived it took 15 minutes. Very polite and courteous.Very satisfied. Denver, CO (Adams County)

The technician I spoke to was very professional and polite. I didn't meet him, because I was at work, and my mom was at my house. She said he was very nice, and felt bad that he was unable to complete the service order due to my kitchen faucet needing to be removed. The only complaint I have is that in his efforts to get the part removed, he scratched and damaged my brand new, less than a month old, white quartz countertops. I had wrongfully assumed the repair would be done from the outside, since the windows were installed from the outside. I only wish he had thought to cover the countertops in some manner before working above them, as other service technicians have done. All n all I am happy with my style line windows. Robert came to our house and quickly and professionally replaced the Trinsic sliding window that had developed a bit of a warp over time (5+ years). He was friendly, courteous and had no problem adding some spacers to make the door easier to lock. Outstanding! Fremont, CA (Alameda County)
