My kitchen window that was less than a two years old was broken by a brick being thrown through it. I was just sick I'd only had the window less than two years and now it was shattered and in pieces on my kitchen floor. I notified Milgard of the broken window and they immediately went to work, no questions asked. It was ordered and ready for installation within a few weeks. The installers were about a month behind and weren't able to get it in as quickly as I would have liked, but when they did come to install the new one, they were on time, very professional and fast. They cleaned up and hauled all the broken glass away and even cleaned the window for me. I am very pleased with the over all experience and would highly recommend them! Service on three of my home Tuscany windows was completed today from minor issues like a top latch not holding the sliding door to gas leak in another and the time taken for the service was about an hour. The technician not only fixed the issues but also taught me how to clean second floor windows' exterior surface without having to climb a ladder from the outside or buy lengthy hoses and squeegees etc. and this alone will save me hundreds of dollars every year in window cleaning expenses! As a stickler for clean glass windows, this was a huge help for me.One thing that can surely be improved and the reason for the title of my review is the wait time to get the actual service done. I started this process in December 2015 and finally got the service completed in May 2025 with two visits by the tech. Part of it was due to my personal schedule which Milgard was able to accommodate but they had at least a 3 month wait for any person contact. This can surely be improved. I had a hard to open ultra awning that was 16 years old. I know it says \lifetime guarantee\" but I wondered. I got online and submitted a service request on the Milgard website.A couple of days later I was contacted by a Milgard service rep who was very knowledgeable and very professional. He set up a service call for me.On the scheduled day the serviceman call an hour early and told me when to expect them.
