We have owned Milgard aluminum doors since 1992. Since that time, we have had a couple warranty requests. We have always had prompt, professional service with no debate over our warranty claim. The appointment is scheduled in a timely manner and our tech completed the work quickly and professionally. Milgard service representative Susie Ellis explained the warranty covering our windows, and arranged to have four sliding windows replaced at our cost and one fixed window replaced under warranty. She scheduled the appointment and Felix showed up on time and completed the work in in fewer than two hours. He did a nice job and we are happy with the work and the windows look great. I particularly liked the pleasant negotiations with Ms Ellis, who provided solutions to our problem rather than simply stating that the warranty was no longer valid because we coated the windows with reflective film. The installers were professional, worked quickly and carefully and and even made sure to cover their boots with guards.I did feel that the time between contacting Millard for replacement windows and the installation was a little long, about 2 1/2 months.
