Jose from Milgard came by on time, looked at the window and had a spare parts and showed how my Ultra single hung operates. The first spring put in wasn't right but he had the extra parts and put them in. Thanks, because it would have meant that he would have to reorder and make another appt. on a much later date. We had a problem with sticking window. When we called, not only did Milgard windows to fix the problem window, but said they would replace all the balancers in our Tuscany single hungs and the hardware in one of the awing windows! Service tech called prior to the appointment to ask if he could come early. Upon arrival, he quickly replaced every balancer in every window and the awning window.. I have no complaints regarding the service we have received. But I am very disappointed that the windows we purchased only in August 2006 would not be covered under warranty for what appears to have been a stress break. The window suddenly shattered around 9pm on a balmy evening. I was watching TV when I heard a loud noise and upon investigation found the upper outer pane had broken into shards.
