This is our 2nd purchase of Milgard windows (1st were Tuscany and then Trinsic) and we still love them! Our first time was 15 years ago in California. This time we put them in our home in Washington. We couldn't wait to install new windows after living for a few years with 20 year old aluminum windows that were part of the original build of the house in 1990. My kitchen window that was less than a two years old was broken by a brick being thrown through it. I was just sick I'd only had the window less than two years and now it was shattered and in pieces on my kitchen floor. I notified Milgard of the broken window and they immediately went to work, no questions asked. It was ordered and ready for installation within a few weeks. The installers were about a month behind and weren't able to get it in as quickly as I would have liked, but when they did come to install the new one, they were on time, very professional and fast. They cleaned up and hauled all the broken glass away and even cleaned the window for me. I am very pleased with the over all experience and would highly recommend them! When we had a problem with one of our Milgard windows I dreaded having to think how difficult the process would be to get it resolved . . . boy was I WRONG !!! Every aspect of this experience was effortless and pleasant . . . from the first customer service phone call to the tech that came to look at the issue and then finally the tech that came out and fixed the problem. All that I can say is that Milgard values their customers and I am truly blessed to have purchased Milgard windows. Problems happen, but wow . . . The service was excellent. My lifetime warranty was sustaimed. I wish the time between asking for a window replacement and the time of service was shorter but the reality is that Milgard honors their warranty unlike my neighbor that bought a different cheaper brand the the manufacturer will not warranty their windows.
