We were the second owners of a restored home. We had a problem with 2 of the windows. Nine years after they were purchased by the previous owner, my realtor told us that they were Milgard windows and they had an excellent warranty program. I Googled Milgard windows, called the warranty department and spoke to a person immediately. Within minutes I had a replacement window scheduled for replacement and a Milgard repair technician to fix the balance on the other window. All this for no cost. I looked at all the major brands at various dealer showrooms, and the Milgard Tuscany Windows had the look and solid made feel to them. I ordered the SunCoatMaxMax package and it was well worth it. My older double pane windows had wood rot but I thought they still kept the heat of the afternoon sun out of the house. I installed the Tuscany windows and I can't believe how much cooler the house is now. I'm hard to satisfy but these windows are worth every penny.
