They were efficient and knew exactly what they were doing along with being friendly and courteous.Being on the coast, windows take quite a beating and with this kind of service we definitely made the best decision. I love that my Milgard windows are under a lifetime warranty. I love it that Milgard stands behind that and came out to service the style line casements and some windows that are now almost fifteen years old. That's standing behind your product! Milgard scheduled an appointment to replace the glass in a Milgard Style Line Casement window that had development streaks between the panes. When the technician arrived to install the replacement, he quickly determined that the grid in the new window was different than the original. So he had to return the new glass and said I would receive a call within 2-3 days with a new appointment for the replacement. When I did not receive a call after 8 days, I called and discovered an appointment had been scheduled, but no one called me. The second replacement glass had the correct grid-style and was installed by the technician. Overall we had a good experience and lover our Milgard windows and we feel secure with them. Ii was dissatisfied with the original installation (installers did a poor job not Milgard) of the two doors and a casement window. The first time a Milgard Service Tech came out, he identified the sagging door as a result of the original installers not tightening the hinge to the doors and not properly installing the weather stripping. The Service Tech told me he would order some weather stripping, which never came. With the recent bad weather, I had some water seep into the house. Once again, I notified Milgard and they sent a different Service Tech out. He identified the issue as a result of the locking mechanism plate being installed backwards during the original installation. He also noted the insufficient weather stripping. He immediately replaced the weather stripping, took the door off the hinge and re-tightened all of the hinges, checking to make sure that the hinges are not stripped. At some point, he noticed the locking mechanisms being installed incorrectly and corrected that issue. The door looks like it is still sagging, but he did the best that he could and he explained it so that I understood what was happening. I am in the process of ordering $10,000 worth of new windows for the whole house, but I delayed to insure that I would get quality service and backing of the current products. My issues are from the original installation contractor not Milgard. They also fixed my Milgard style line casement window. Orange County, CA
