I purchased 7 Milgard Tuscany Windows online from 1stwindows for our home. Process was simple to buy from 1stwindows. The single hungs glide up and and down easily and 1stwindows gave me tips on how to measure for them. Milgard delivered them factory direct to our house. We double checked the windows on the delivery as instructed and saw a torn screen. 1stwindows followed up on this issue with the factory. The new replacement screen came to us 7 days later! We shopped around our little mountain community in Mammoth Lakes, Bishop, and big box stores and got what we thought were high prices. We purchased Milgard Thermally Improved Aluminum windows in Palm Springs due to the high heat in the summers. The windows and doors have performed good and it gets very hot in our desert community. I originally did not have glass breakage insurance added to my online order however after speaking to the owner I took their suggestion on adding the breakage insurance after the owner explained to me why. I started buying Milgard Windows from 1stWindows many years ago. I can tell you these guys know Milgard Windows like the back of their hands. They can be a bit cautious. Every time I order there is a questionnaire they ask me before placing the order. Its actually a good thing because every once in a while it prompts a code violation which can be costly. For my current project I had noise reduction, security glass, fire concerns, and efficiency questions. The owner go me on the phone and gave me great information. Now the windows are in and the customer loves the Milgard windows security and sound reduction. I do price check 1stWindows.com from time to time and they are always the least expensive. Yes! Omar from Milgard Windows and his partner finished everything in less than 2 hours (15 windows). Omar is a joy to deal with, diligent, knows what he's doing, pleasant, just the kind of guyyou want to work with! This was a large service request that involved Milgard Trinsic Horizontal Sliders. The two workman showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. 1stWindows was helpful at filling out the service request even though we bought them online 5 years go.
