Deluxe Horizontal Windows are an energy efficient, dual glazed widow
that provides optimum year round thermal
efficiency for your indoor comfort. We've combined hi-tech engineering
with old-world sculpting to give you a window as beautiful as it is
durable. The appealing white or almond vinyl colors are molded
throughout
the extrusion, eliminating any need for touch-ups or repainting.
Heavy wall, multi chambered frame with
fusion welded corners.
Frame depth is 2-3/4" at base and
3" overall, with a sculptured frame design.
Nail-on frame has a 1" long fin,
located 7/8" from the exterior surface.
Meets and exceeds AAMA/NWWDA 1 01/l.S. 2-97
specifications for LC-25 Light Commercial Rating (13054 XOX).
Surpasses California Model Building
Security Ordinance for forced entry resistance.
Dual glazed windows are glazed with
3/4" overall insulated glass, providing a minimum of 1/2" airspace.
Labeled with U-Value of .49 with standard
glass package under NFRC 100-97 specifications. U-Value of .35 with High
Performance Low E glass.
Meeting rail is reinforced with an aluminum
extrusion for structural strength and rigidity.
Soft, durable fin seal weather stripping is
used on all vent panels for air-tightness.
Vent panel rolls on dual brass rollers with
stainless steel axle contained in a nylon housing.
Snap in bottom track allows for easy
replacement in case of damage.
Attractive European designed latching
handle with separate concealed keeper is standard.
Windows may be stacked (over and under) or
mulled (side by side) with other Superior vinyl windows using a "snap
together" adapter.
Available in White or Almond color.
Retro-fit fin is an integral part of the
frame - miter cut and fusion welded at the corners. Fin size is 1-3/4" long
with cut-off points every 1/4".
Removable screens are made with 3/4" x
3/8" aluminum roll formed screen frame and 18x16 charcoal fiberglass mesh.
Windows are non-reversible with glazed in
place stationary panels.
Net frame sizes for:
Nail-on frame - call-out minus 3/8"
width and 3/8" height.
Sloped sill windows are measured from
inside of the window and have a 1/2" longer exterior leg.
