Milgard Tuscany Windows VS Milgard Classic Windows
Many people have been asking what is the differenct between the new Milgard Tuscany windows and the old Milgard Classic windows.

There are a few differences.  The new Milgard Tuscany has a 3 1/4 inch frame verses the Classic which has a 3 3/8 inch frame.  The Tuscany works better for changing out old wood windows.  The 1/8 inch makes a lot of difference.  The Milgard Tuscany has the following upgrades:  The lock is sleeker and easier to open in my opinion.  The screen pull in integrated into the frame so you dont pull out the plasting tabs everytime you remove the screen.  The vent locks which allow the sash to remain locked when the window is slighlty open is also a nice feature.  I think the nices thing Milgard Windows did was offer a lifetime accidential glass breakage for the original buyer.  All and all Milgard Windows did a nice job with the Tuscany window.
